In June 2013, what do you think of the NDK?
I saw somes discussions about the NDK
Question
Question
Android NDK
Etc....
But somes of them are two years old and I wanted to know if we take in account we are in june 2013, Google has created a good tool or something only useful in specific cases like files compresssions, etc...
Can I create a game with the NDK with good results? What do you think of the API and the doc of the NDK? If ateam is mainly C++ programmers and want a 2D game of high quality, is it still better for the team to learn JAVA or to use the NDK?
At least, with the NDK, it's easier to port for others platforms, at which point is it a valuable parameter.
So, finally, the purpose of this question is to ask what do you think of the NDK? (Not really a question about "which technology to use", but more a question about at which point this technology is mature and efficient)
Thanks,
